BlacK Screen of Death:
This problem seems to occur with no definitive cause. Its symptoms are a "black screen" with a mouse only. No CTRL-ALT-DEL works, no right click, no icons, and it happens in both safe and normal modes. After many hours of expert repair techniques, I tried every solution that even had a chance to work, none of them saved the Windows installation. Probably the best case is backup data, and reinstall. |
